बिहार के 30 साल के मौलाना तौसीफ रज़ा मज़हरी की 26 अप्रैल 2026 को बरेली के पास रेलवे ट्रैक के किनारे लाश मिली। पुलिस इसे हादसा बता रही है, लेकिन उनके परिवार का कहना है कि उनके साथ मारपीट की गई और उन्हें चलती ट्रेन से फेंक दिया गया।
एक कॉल रिकॉर्डिंग में वह कहते सुनाई देते हैं कि कुछ लोग नशे में थे, गाली दे रहे थे और उन्हें पीट रहे थे, और वह पुलिस बुलाने की बात कर रहे थे।
उनकी पत्नी ने बताया कि सफर के दौरान उन्होंने उसे फोन किया और कहा कि उन पर हमला हो रहा है और झूठा चोरी का आरोप लगाया जा रहा है। पत्नी का यह भी दावा है कि उसने वीडियो कॉल पर यह सब होते देखा।
मौलाना तौसीफ रज़ा मज़हरी एक इमाम और मदरसा शिक्षक थे। वह बरेली एक धार्मिक कार्यक्रम में गए थे और वापस घर लौटते समय यह घटना हुई।
