Ambassador @simonwaltersuk and @ukinisrael staff were grateful to host Magen David Adom for a first aid training session. The session was a chance to keep up to date with vital first aid skills and a reminder of the crucial work @mdais deliver in Israel and around the world.

MDA EMTs and paramedics are treating a 17-year-old girl in serious condition with injuries to her limbs, and a 15-year-old girl in moderate condition with a facial injury, and evacuating them to Shaare Tzedek Hospital.

MDA EMTs and paramedics are providing medical treatment to 2 casualties in mild condition, aged 30 and 50, with shrapnel injuries.

Further update: Following last night’s incident in Haifa:
As of 12:40, a woman approximately 35 years old was rescued without signs of life. MDA paramedics pronounced her dead.
In summary, all four missing persons have been rescued, and pronounced dead.

After complex rescue operations, MDA paramedics pronounced the death of a man and a woman, both approximately 80 years old, and are continuing to provide medical cover for the continuation of the rescue operations.
Update: As of 12:20, a man in his 40s has been rescued without signs of life. MDA paramedics have pronounced him dead.

At a scene in Haifa, MDA EMTs and paramedics are providing medical treatment and evacuating 4 mildly injured patients with signs of smoke inhalation to Rambam Hospital. A man and a woman in their 40s, and two 5-year-old girls.
Elderly woman treated by MDA after falling on her way to a shelter following Red Alert sirens in central Israel. Patient is unconscious and in unstable condition. Evacuated to Ichilov Hospital for further treatment.
