I know people that have experienced parental alienation and have been asked not to attend/specifically excluded from milestone events.

As a straight woman - I’m not going to tell gay men how to style or age gracefully. They can ask other gay men what they find attractive or feel suits them; if they care.
Women - Do you care about what others think about how you aesthetically
present yourself? If yes, and IF you are single, heterosexual men and lesbians are your target market. If you are in a relationship-> your person is the target. If you don’t care what others think - do as you see fit.
Straight and gay women- If you care about the gay men’s options about “what is attractive” you are lost. Babes they will not be in a grow old partner for life relationship with women. Friends sure, but they are not going to be your lover and life partner - they do that with other men.
I’ve suffered too many bouts of EDs and self hate because of gay men beauty standards in media and fashion only to learn decades later that straight men, peers, friends, and family had totally different parameters on what they found beautiful and attractive…. Hint: it’s more to do with character, heart, and intelligence than long or short hair.
