The death of rugby player Sydney Gongodyo (RIP) 😔seems to have changed something.

In this video, a man accused of stealing a phone is stripped to his boxers after the phone is recovered, but you can hear people saying, “Don’t beat him.” They stop anyone from attacking him and let him walk away.

It’s quite a contrast from what happened to Gongodyo just weeks ago.

The suspect was identified as Wafula Solomon, a 27-year-old male adult and resident of Banda Zone III, Banda Parish, Nakawa Division, Kampala District.

Police are investigating the circumstances under which the video was made and whether the suspect or any of the individuals mentioned therein have been involved in criminal acts committed along Jinja Road and its surrounding areas.
