Happy first birthday to the Maryland Benefits One Application!

In just one year, more than 500,000 Marylanders have completed benefits applications and 289,554 residents have connected to SNAP benefits through the tool.

The St. Mary’s County Summer Camp Initiative provides safe, structured care for children while helping parents focus on work, job training, and greater financial stability.

Since 2022, the program has supported 427 children.

Today, @GovWesMoore highlighted new data showing the impact of federal restrictions on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits for Marylanders.

Since the federal changes took effect, 35,861 Marylanders have lost SNAP benefits.
