@EoinKr @IMO_IRL It has been complete disaster in UK. Legions of barely trained noctors working independently in GP practices overloading tertiary care with blizzards of nonsensical referrals. Undermining training in hospitals. Use as a cheap and dangerous rota filler. This must be opposed.

@BMA_Consultants I did not want the contract renegotiated. You give them an inch, and they take a mile. I just wanted more money. The top of this contract is lower than the bottom ten years ago adjusted for inflation.

@mikeroscoe67 @Tibbmum @timricketts_ That 128k figure includes locums (short term highly paid doctors) whereas the aus salary is for a standard job. My salary would double if I took any given aus consultant job. Triple for some.
