If GRA is now going to decide how many phones I’m allowed to use and tax my personal belongings simply because I have several of them, then they should first put a system in place to tax over 25% of the offerings received by churches and mosques. If they can’t, then screw them all. You customs officers who only use WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, and make calls can have more than 3 phones in Ghana, yet you want to tell journalists, cybersecurity professionals, social media managers, or app testers that they can’t bring more than 2 phones into Ghana for personal use? These people have no idea what is happening in the real world. Remove them all!

With 170km cleared for the new Accra- Kumasi Express way, Minister for Finance says ALL funds for the project will be ready by close of this year,

Two things flow from this.

1. It will be the single largest piece of infrastructure built by any Ghanaian government.

2. It will be the first time in Ghana's history that a project of this scale and magnitude is being funded fully with our own funds and without reliance on some external assistance.

I applaud Hon. John Dumelo for actively promoting the use of made-in-Ghana rice and other locally produced foods.

We must increasingly eat what we grow and grow what we eat. Choosing locally produced food helps support hardworking Ghanaian farmers, strengthens local businesses, keeps more value within our economy, and creates jobs along the agricultural value chain.

Government will continue to support increased production through initiatives such as the Feed Ghana Programme. But government action must be matched by our choices as consumers.
