Buttercups enjoyed their computing lesson this week. They learnt about different technological devices and searched around the school for different devices. They took their job very seriously and ticked off each item on their list when they found it!

This week in English we have been learning about instructions. We followed a set of instructions to make pumpkin soup. It was delicious!

Autumn is always a good time of year for walks.

This week’s home learning challenge is to go on an autumn scavenger hunt with your grown-ups and collect conkers, acorns, and crispy autumn leaves. Please remember to return your bag full of exciting objects on Monday.

To finish off our topic on bears, the children in Buttercups class made porridge. They worked really hard and followed the instructions step by step. When it was ready we tasted the porridge and it was delicious. Well done Buttercups!

This week in Buttercups we are learning the story of “Goldilocks and the three bears” We are also learning new Makaton signs to help us perform the story.

What a fabulous time we had at The Lowry Theatre watching Stick Man. Such a good show and a really nice way to finish our Talk 4 Writing work.
