Education is not about test scores or grades. Those are arbitrary by-products of the educational process. True education is bringing out the talents, strengths, and passions of our students to help them be exponentially more successful in life.
You can tell a teacher to take the weekend off, to push school to the side, to avoid email, and to avoid 12-14 hour days...but they will tell you that most of the time, being highly effective in their role requires them to use their personal time. Teachers need us to know that.
