Glad you're playing larger venues this year @zachlanebryan Grand Rapids had sold out before I could snag tickets but we officially have tickets to Buckeye Country Superfest 2024! Kiddos' first concert is going to be epic! #familyfun#countrymusic
Kalahari > Great Wolf Lodge
๐ฆ End of debate.
Love traveling to OH when OH kids are already back in school. Perfect, non crowded way for us Michiganders who are NOT in school yet to enjoy the last weekend of summer!

@FamTravelFolio Make one packing list (different sections sure but 1 list)...I've made multiple lists before and forgot I had that second list and only packed what was on the first list
@flyawaycouple I'd barter to see if I could get more PTO or something or negotiate to 5%. With no travel to or from work, no work wardrobe, no gas I do save. Not that from their end it makes sense to cut my pay but I do love work from home.
Education is important don't miss school for family vacations they say...easy for them to say! Airline spring break prices are making me think skipping school sounds like a stellar plan (& I'm a teacher!) #flights#familyvacation Who would even pay $1700/ea DTW to MCO! Crazy!
@Chalkcheese111 A1: with my family of four. We have our rhythm down. Not a fan of larger groups roadtripping together. Everyone has their own pace. #travchat
@Chalkcheese111 A5: hard to pick just one but one of many was a drive from MI to SC to Georgia to FL then flew back. I've embraced one way roadtrips fit more into limited PTO. Hit Charleston & enjoyed Tybee Island/Savannah with in laws, and wrapped up seeing great grandparents in FL. #travchat
@paulpassingthru Yah I read they beta tested that. I didn't know if it was confirmed tho if it was successful and coming back next yr. I'll keep an eye out
Hit me with the best OBX restaurant for a date night. Parents are taking the kids and we're celebrating 13 years so don't let me down! We're not fancy people, but bonus points for ocean views while eating. #obx#anniversary#restaurants
@Chalkcheese111 A1; Yes! Was camping with a bunch of 2nd & 3rd grade girl scouts when huge thunder lightning rain storm hit middle night. One tent collapsed we had to relocate everyone to their event hall to sleep. Had to try to stay all positive and cheery so they weren't scared.
