For one, this is the exact argument a controversial game creator known as yandere dev made and everyone dogged hard on him for it. I personally do not understand how someone with a different reputation arguing the same logic can be accepted while another can not.

Is there no way to reach out to developers with similar problems and ask for how they solved it? Maybe encouraging the modding community to be more clear about it's "unofficial-ness"? Maybe all I'm saying has been done by the tekken devs and i'm repeating a failed process

Personally, I wouldn't say anything for your personal enjoyment.
