I love what RJ Barrett is turning into. Brilliant defense by Mitch on that last play. The way AD rolled hard, looked like Bron thought they'd double again, but Mitch sat on the roll then extended to the lower % shot.
@PaulHeadleyNBA He definitely should have subbed out Monk. Malik got cold and was getting targeted in PnR. Plus all of the other Lakers had the shot going. Clearly should have gone to THT after the 2nd bad scramble/double team situation.
Frank Vogel made that game easy for the Clippers down the stretch. Lue was clearly targeting Monk and all of the Lakers had offense going. Should have brought back in THT. I don't know why, but AD's defense isn't what it used to be.
The funny thing is I don't even think the 5'9 builds were killed. They just have to be more skilled. They still have a 99 3pt, 99 swb and all HoF offensive badges. If you can't score with that, it's not the patch, it's you. @brutalsim@JaiEazy@ShakeDown2012
@thee215 I was actually thinking the same thing when they were winning. It wasn't a commentary on the Suns, but on how the media picks and chooses who they talk about. Dame is still skating right now.
This doesn't in and of itself solve balance, but it better describes the direction of Olympus. I do think bans are a part of this picture, since creative balancing is going to create edge cases that the community knows to avoid on certain maps.
I'd love for @YourOverwatchYT Freedo to talk to @One_AmongstMany About balance. OAM switched over to fighting games, specifically Guilty Gear, which has it figured out. The game only has to be balanced enough that each general character/style is fun and has a chance.
One could argue that in a team based game, toxicity erupts when teammates perceive a sub optimal choice. I think that's reasonable, but incorrect. 1)Non-pros are usually wrong about the win condition of a match 2)If everything has a chance, niche picks aren't bad picks.
Damian Lillard is shooting airballs, turning the ball over and basically doing nothing in the clutch, but for some reason he's going to continue to get a pass.
@GhEttObyrdB LOL. Dame deserves enough credit that he should be heavily criticized for stinking up the joint all year. This is his 10th year in the league, at a time when Chris Paul is reinventing the standard for older smaller guards, and CP3 has had way more injuries.
@GhEttObyrdB A guy who was a superstar a few months ago looks washed and no one talks about it. That's weird, man. I've seen players perform really well and get criticized for the one weakness they have. He SUCKS rn compared to his normal production and he's skating.
