@LastofUsPSN @_Tom_Henderson_ On release that was Deluxe Edition stuff, which is basically a micro transaction. They then had the golden ticket dlc but they released that later, which helped it not be tainted on release. People are very knee jerk in their outrage. Game Is fine but this is PR failure

People are losing their minds saying a lot of bait about how Dragons Dogma 2 is pay to win. It's not at all. But wow capcom really screwed themselves by doing this, at least do it like RE 4R and release the useless micro transactions a month later. So the game is not tainted

@JammerJammy It could just have competent gameplay that fits the tone... Like if James starts pulling break dancing kick attacks and perfect parrying Pyramid head then maybe I'll have issue... Like save that for Silent Hill 3.

@IosLocarth @A_Spirit_Within Debuffs usually affect bosses to my experience but it's status effects like stun, charm or sleep that I usually... sleep on in RPGs. Unless it's a tactics game, like Tactics Ogre, in which case sleep and charm are the best.

@ruppiV2ber @CapcomUSA_ @CapcomFighters They've been releasing fairly consistent W's for a healthy few years this timeline, RE remake (not 3..), DMC5 now SF6. Idk what happened but they definitely let the right people in charge of things. Also Dragons Dogma 2!

@IniLiphe06 Thought they would keep her for a little longer, but after the events of the episode it makes sense. Just tragedy on top of tragedy these last few episodes

#G_Witch so last 4 episodes have been upping the stakes and tragedy to the point that now the happy yuri slice of mecha school from season has been destroyed, 2 ships sunk and PTSD or revenge arcs for everyone else.

@CaptainLeona Hopefully 'Canon' is nothing more than a note you can miss about how "X people died due Y event" in another game. But even then this does kind of spoil any illusion of a strong artistic & narrative direction that the series may have going forward for me
