@sY0L0@GovWesMoore@Ravens@Commanders Heβs a commanders fan. Wants to keep them in PG county to continue to fill his pockets. SMH. Regret voting for him. π€ππ€ππ€π
@JasenWunder@GovWesMoore@iamwesmoore Agree. There are many important needs us citizens have . . . But hey. Letβs focus on someone who has a roof over their head, food on the table, and a job, who isnβt even from Maryland. So happy I voted for him π€¦π½ββοΈπ‘
@GovWesMoore People are coming out of prison more traumatized and less rehabilitated, which leads to more crime, and high recidivism rates. I hope that providing treatment, and addressing the abuses incarcerated ppl face at the hands of COβs is part of your βall of the aboveβ approach . . .
@GovWesMoore On speaking about public safety, wouldnβt it be a good idea to provide treatment and resources to incarcerated people that will assist in stopping reseat offenders, and lower the recidivism rate, which would in turn lower crime rate?
@GovWesMoore Hmmmm . . . Anything to address the recidivism rate? Providing jobs, safe housing, mental health treatment, and other resources for returning citizens to help them be successful upon re-entry back into Maryland communities? What about more educational programs behind the walls?
@GovWesMoore Does this include incarcerated people as well? What about those living with mental illness in psych wards? When have you visited a detention center? Have you visited any psych wards???
If you're thinking about mass incarceration this #Juneteenth2023, consider the complete scope: not just 2 million people behind bars, but 3.5 million on probation and parole, systems that can replicate prison conditions in the community. 30% of people under supervision are Black.
@marlon_humphrey You should check out @SalvageArc who does magnet fishing in the inner harbor!!!! The stuff they pull out of the harbor is π€― Also, prob not a good idea to eat any fish that comes from the inner harbor π«’
