@CHALVIN2018 Where would you rank him among the following players and picks going forward in terms of who is most vital to keep: JJJ, Lauri, George, Ace, #2 pick…if it’s 6th, then maybe we aren’t undervaluing him and there’s a & amount where signing him doesn’t make sense.
@DanIsett And somehow managed to turn the entire country against them by pretending a player who broke the sacred rule in sports deserved no more than a 2-game suspension. It wasn’t great.
@wembyfan4life Yeah, ummm, no. The Jazz aren’t taking one of the worst contracts in the NBA off the Spurs and giving up their best player in return. These trades need to be Spurs giving up Fox and a bunch of picks and taking on bad contracts in return. No one is giving up quality for Fox.
@iiTzz_Tyrell We are 13th in avg star rating in the Big12 for the 2027 cycle. I still think Scalley is elite at talent spotting and development, so I’m not worried or anything. But I’m not ready to declare a generational run with zero 4-stars committed.
@madraider06@sclarsen10 So if a guy transfers schools before getting caught, he doesn’t have to be accountable to his actions? Sorry, but your school needs to vet better and if they find out the guy broke a sacred rule, they have to have some standards. Thats why the whole country is against you.
@mrlongshore It’s not abandonment to hold people accountable. Betting on your own team is the unforgivable sin in sports because it strikes at the integrity of the game. It’s a punishment that fits the crime for a program with integrity.
@jaylassoku I’ll slam Tech. They can say they aren’t going to play the guy who committed the ultimate sin in sports. It’s not that hard to be the adult in the room, but they are willing to turn their cheek in order to win. They deserve the criticism and I am embarrassed for them.
@ASU_SuperFan I sure hope my team would not play a player who bet on games featuring his own team. I would hope they would have the institutional integrity to move on.
@TechAthletics@TexasTechFB This is so incredibly disappointing. Your desire to win outweighs your role in the stewardship for the integrity of the game. And you hide behind mental health treatment as justification.
@MarkW_E01 I like him a lot and think he will be a souped up version of Al Horford. But with Lauri, JJJ, and Kessler all locked up, grabbing a guy with athletic versatility who can play between 1-3 is a perfect fit for what they need.
@jeezysupremacy Worst team in the NBA last year and got the fifth pick. 11 times in the lottery prior to this year and never once moved up. Stick in purgatory or do what you have to do. Hate the game, not the player.
@UteOutsider@WillyFoosball I reject this comparison. Outlaw is a rebel/fugitive with a nasty streak. Westerners is the name of a PBS documentary that would put me to sleep. They don’t mean the same thing.
@UteOutsider@WillyFoosball I’m trying to process someone trashing on these other names and then proposing Utah Westerners. I don’t even know what to say.
@KevinOConnor Considering the Jazz either have Cleveland’s first round pick or a pick swap for the next 3 years, it would be stupid to blow it up. As a Jazz fan, I would love to see them do it.
