Yes I came back to twitter just to post this as I’m so disappointed in the RCP. Really can’t believe some things I’ve heard. Astonished at fellow consultants, but I’m also grateful to those (eligible to attend) who spoke up with points of common sense and caution #RCPEGM

I’m also deeply saddened to hear of Tasneem’s passing. What a tragedy someone so young, and clearly such a kind person, is lost. Sincere condolences to all that loved her. It’s more important than ever that we look out for each other. Wishing you all a peaceful Christmas x

Disappearing from here again now but I also wanted to say hi to my #medtwitter friends. Sorry I’ve not been on X during recent conversations about our profession, but I remain as committed as ever to protecting training & careers for doctors, & maintaining standards for patients

But UK medicine for me (ie my job) has been grinding me down this year. I won’t get into it here but f*ck me, working for the NHS is one long toxic relationship (pretty sure I stole that from someone else on medtwitter!) We only have so much mental bandwidth, and X was a casualty
