1949-50 Opening of the Enclosure
The Meadow team posing for the photographer on the day the old enclosure was officially opened on 6th August 1949. Meadow then faced Gourock in a league match and won 3-0.

Two true Meadow greats who were part of the famous 1973 squad which gave the club our last Scottish Junior Cup triumph 🏆 - Ada McLaughlin & Eric Morris.

Johnny McIntyre not only captained the Meadow team to success in the 1963 Scottish Junior Cup Final and scored the winner three minutes from the end, but at one point he threw himself along his goal line to block a scoring shot with his face, losing a couple of teeth.

Thousands of fans gather at Irvine town centre to greet Meadow back to town after winning the 1959 Scottish Junior Cup. The open top bus celebrations down Irvine High Street is such an iconic moment in not just the club's past but the town's entire history.
