A beautiful morning and early afternoon spent at @SMASSservices yesterday with a wonderful congregation, faithful clergy, an angelic choir, an uplifting Liturgy, the Veneration and Procession of the relics of the church, and a joyful time spent with the community during their annual Patronal Fete and celebration…and the obligatory barbecue and excessive sugar intake through irresistible desserts. Two thousand years on, and the Church, at its core, is still very much the same in prayer, the Sacraments, learning, life and community: “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Acts 2:42 Thank you all for a lovely day!
