There’s a lot that goes behind the scenes in the life of someone with #Type1Diabetes - and most of the time it’s invisible.
Finding people who “see” what is invisible to most is the essence of loved experience peer support and can drastically change your quality of life!
Last week we were invited to attend @DiabetesUK Professional Conference, which took place in Liverpool. Our goal: to run a #dedoc° voices scholarship program at #DUKPC starting next year.

⚽Sports&Diabetes, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, has developed a handbook and a comic book addressing the concerns of PwD regarding engagement in sporting activities when living with diabetes.
