A patient called to tell us how kind and considerate EMT Andrew Berquist was during her transport. After getting the patient safely in her home, Andrew took a couple of extra minutes to shovel her wheelchair ramp before leaving her home.

Paramedic Jamie Randall and EMT Cameron Smith responded to a 911 call in Eastpointe where a patient was suffering from pain and pressure in their chest.
Jamie and Cameron’s quick clinical assessment, treatment, and transport were critical components in saving the patient's life.

The Medstar family contributed to our Adopt-a-Family program. We provided a holiday full of laughs, food, and gifts from Santa for families throughout our service area. Team members personally purchased, donated, wrapped, and delivered presents to each family before Christmas.
