Bruno Mars is so underrated, man. Like, Ik he’s a global superstar, but people still sleep on him compared to how they hype other pop stars. What other male pop star is singing that high, doing interactive moments with the crowd, playing three different instruments guitar, piano, and congas doing solos, and dancing smoothly to anything, all while singing, with no need for backup dancers, just him and his band? Who else is performing without ANY backtrack or heavy pitch corrector just his voice and two backup singers? Who else is doing all that and still has that level of stage presence and crowd control? He’s a showman, a real performer, n I feel like people overlook that just because he’s not flying around the stage, lmao.
He’s in that classic entertainer lane like Michael Jackson and Prince and honestly, probably closest to James Brown with that live, band-driven energy. It’s vocals, musicianship, charisma, n precision all at once, which you don’t really see put together like that much anymore. And even though he’s huge worldwide, I think the way he makes everything look so effortless n cuz he’s not constantly trending online or relying on flashy gimmicksmakes people not fully realize how complete he is as a performer.

my sister had a baby and I took it over after she passed away and the baby lost all its legs and arms and now its just a stump but I take care of it with my wife and... and its growing and its fairly happy... and its difficult because I'm working a second shift at the factory to put food on the table but all the love that I see in that little guy's face it makes it worth it in the end. True story.
