He ran for president in 2020, lost the election, and then incited a violent insurrection at the Capitol where his supporters tried to hang his vice-president. In 2024 he ran for president, he referred to his opponents as 'vermin' and the 'enemy within' and said he would send the military after them... Donald Trump has set the tone here."
