@cryptseptember @paris_wisdom Reina was anything but average, a fantastic shot-stopper, good with his feet when it was not much of a requirement for goalies. Was easily in the top 10 of goalies in Europe maybe even top 5 between 2005- 2012. 3 consecutive PL golden gloves as well.

@paris_wisdom Cech with the head-gear was still spectacular. Easily the best goalie in the league what happened was he struggled to keep up with the changing demands for modern keepers(sweeping and ball playing). But surely the greatest of the Prem era.

@LFC_Markinho Awful or not, selling a player who's going to be your 2nd highest goal scorer and also you most experienced forward to a direct rival is just plain stupid. Especially in a market that is clearly lacking in quality forward options. Also everyone one of them was awful last season.

@Mix_Football1 Finishing is a skill that can be taught. He has all the other ingredients. For all his greatness, Salah's conversion rate hardly ever touched 20% in any season, averaged 15% in his whole LFC career. But if you can fashion out enough high quality chances, then he will be alright.

@whipsnade19 I agree about the structure and I think it will improve. I trust the Iraola to do that but we have seen these guys out-dueled too many times. Sometimes the structure/tactics might not work and all that is left is to dig in and fight and these guys chicken out too often.

@whipsnade19 Nice read but the guys just have to win their duels especially the first action after losing position. And commit some damn fouls. All the great teams do it. They had that with the Fabinhon, Henderson and Gini even Thiago was good at fouling when he was out-dueled.
