It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of John Stew, former Chair of the Friends of Grace Road and formerly the Catering Manager for Leicestershire County Cricket Club after a short illness. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Toast a year like no other alongside the Foxes players & coaches at a unique celebratory dinner this December. 🍽️

The evening will celebrate a historic season with the presentation of the Club’s annual end of season awards. 🦊

Leicestershire CCC is extremely saddened to learn of the passing of former Catering Manager John Stew, who has passed away at the age of 66.

John's legendary culinary skills were revered by many, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. 💚
