While other children carry their backpacks to school, Sila carries hers while trying to adapt to a body that no longer obeys her the way it once did.
Even writing has become a struggle for her. Sitting for just a few minutes causes her pain, and the position of her head is not by choice—it is the result of a severe spinal injury and the delay in the surgery she urgently needs.
Sila is not asking for much. She simply dreams of sitting comfortably, walking again one day, and living her childhood like any other little girl her age.
Every day that passes without treatment is another day taken from her childhood. But we continue to hold on to hope and pray that the day will come when I see her standing on her own feet again. 🤍

In this photo, Sila is sleeping in a position she never chose—it's a position her spinal injury forced upon her. 💔
Since her injury, she has not been able to sleep comfortably like any other child her age. Every night, we try to find a position that eases her pain, but she is still waiting for the surgery that could give her a real chance at treatment and recovery.
Sila doesn't dream of much... she only dreams of waking up one day, walking again, playing, and living the childhood every little girl deserves.
Please keep Sila in your prayers, and stand by her so she can travel to receive the treatment she has been waiting for for months. 🤍🙏
