The next time a conservative asks if I think homosexuality is a sin when I say I stand for LGBTQ+ rights, I’m going to ask them if they think hoarding wealth is a sin and if that should impact the rights of wealthy business owners.

A professor once gave a lecture on Blackness and God. During Q&A, a young man declared, “Why does color matter?! I stopped being Black when I was saved.” The crowd erupted in applause.
The professor simply asked: when did Blackness become so bad that God must save you from it?

Yes.
Do all of us rape other people?
No.
Sexual abuse in evangelical Christianity is not about “all men” being sinners & needing accountability.
It’s about a corrupt religious culture enabling abuse under the guise of “ministry.”
