1) Gov opens subsidized grocery stores at 30% below cost.
2) Local stores can’t compete and go under. The city store becomes the only option.
3) Shelves go empty. Rationing starts (“2 per customer”). There will be daily rushes, hoarding, and lines around the block.
4) Quality quietly tanks. Wilted produce, thinner cuts, fewer choices.
5) The subsidy bill balloons forever.

Imagine you invite someone into your home.

You give them food, shelter, a bed. They have access to all the amenities.

You buy them clothes. They need to wash their clothes, so they use your washer, your water, your dryer.

They catch the flu, so you take them to the doctor. You pay the bill. You buy their medication as well.

More lights are on at home, more electricity is used. More water is used.

Each month, your bills are much higher.

Your grocery bill is much higher.

Then, as they become more comfortable, they start to rearrange your furniture to their liking.

They start tossing items that you love & disrespecting sentimental belongings that mean a lot to you.

The way you run your household is not suitable to their liking, so they insist that you make adjustments.

Then they tell you this is their home now & if you don’t like their new rules, YOU can leave.

How would you respond to their demands?

How long would you allow them to stay as you cater to their needs?

How long would you accept everything being more expensive?

Congratulations, Liberals, now you understand how those of us with a functioning brain feel about foreigners & our tax dollars being spent on caring for them through food stamps, housing, & Medicaid as our bills increase because of such demand on those systems, not to mention all the demands that foreigners make, that we change who we are to better suit who they are, that we change our country’s founding principles.

The federal minimum wage net pay is $1,256 a month.

Let that math sink in.

Someone working full time still comes up $744 short of just paying rent.

Before food. Before utilities. Before gas. Before anything.

This isn’t laziness. This isn’t poor budgeting.

You cannot budget your way out of earning less than your rent costs.

The federal minimum wage hasn’t changed since 2009. Rent has nearly doubled in that same time.

The system isn’t broken by accident.

And until wages catch up, which could take decades, generating income outside of one hourly job isn’t optional anymore.
