I disagree with people on the internet all the time. The difference is, I don’t resort to insulting their intelligence the moment they say something I don’t agree with. How about a civilized conversation for once?
Quite sick of hearing about politics lately. Politicians are out for themselves, not the good of the people & are constantly playing “which party are you on?”.. What happened to discussing issues with integrity rather than throwing insults or ‘impeachment’? #BothPartiesAreGuilty
Responsible adulting: paying myself first when I get paid. Maxing out my Roth IRA annually and putting $ in my savings. Maintaining a debt-free lifestyle. Don’t have the money for it, don’t buy it. I’ve learned a lot in the past few years and I’m better for it. #Lessons
@bluv325 @FloSoftball @PGFnetwork You’re definitely right about the fence! I think it’s less about the protection for younger players and more about how expensive larger, slightly more permanent fences are. It’s not quite feasible for most community fields to have those instead of the temp fences for large fields
Mayor Bill De Blasio wants to turn New York and our country into a socialist, gun-free society. 70% tax rate?? I’m completely appalled at his answers during his latest interview. It’s scary to think people like him want to be our president. #WhatDidIJustWatch
@bluv325 @FloSoftball @PGFnetwork Ruled as an out. She hadn’t touched the ground outside the fence before she caught the ball. If you catch it midair, it’s an out. It’s just like jumping up and catching a ball that is just outside of a true fence. Always ruled an out.
@Fman30 @FloSoftball @GainesvilleGold@PGFnetwork It was ruled as an out. If you catch a ball as you’re going over the fence, it’s always an out. I’m the coach for this team 🤣
So proud of this girl! She started playing softball at 12u, way later than the rest and she is a STRAIGHT BALLER! Atta baby K-Lo! #ProudCoachMoment#BallsCaughtBeyondWalls
My observations from games & camps this summer:
- defensive skills are getting better
- hitters are much better
- kids need to get into much better 7 inning game shape
- pitching is very, very average
- kids are playing too many tournaments & showcases
Just because you played softball in college, it does not make you an immediately "great" coach. And just because you didn't play in college, it doesn't make you any less credible. Coaching takes years of learning how to interact with athletes and building teaching skills.
