Is quinoa good for you? Or do rich people get better healthcare?
@Aspyxia4 @AutisticCallum_ I’ve found that very low profile earplugs (my favorite were made for people who used loud weapons) to be so helpful. I wore them all through my graduate program during seminar days, because food was provided. And crying, seemingly out of nowhere from frustration is “frowned upon”
@catherine_zq@AutisticCallum_ So sorry. It was something I hid for YEARS from family. And now realizing g it led to some issues with food and eating, not to mention trusting people.
@Pyewacketstare @AutisticCallum_ It really is. I have scars on my wrists from digging my nails in so I wouldn’t explode. I internalized so much as things that were my fault.
@lolacoaster I lost my very special Enzo almost exactly four years ago. I took this picture of him and made it into a 3D printed keychain. If you have a special picture you would like made into a keychain, I’d be happy to.
Oil prices today: $115.83 a barrel
Gas prices today: $5.01 a gallon
Oil prices in April of 2008: $116.50
Gas prices in April of 2008: $3.51 a gallon
Gas prices are $1.50 a gallon higher than they should be because of the greed of big oil. It's time for a windfall profits tax.
Gas is over $5 a gallon right now.
The last time a barrel of crude oil cost this much was in July 2014. At that point a gallon of gas only cost about $3.54.

A McDonalds hamburger costs $2.09 at the register. McDonalds internal documents show that the raw materials (patty, bun, etc.) cost $0.34. A McDonalds employee makes $11/hr on average with a shift manager making $15/hr. Shifts are 8 people on average. That means McDonalds pays
misogyny is being able to scrape 3/5 of anakin skywalker off the floor of a volcano planet and turn him into a cyborg laser warlord, but padme dies of a "broken heart" in a fully equipped future-tech medical facility
My family was definitely not ready for my WW rant when the ad came on at 12:03. Thanks, @MaintenancePod, I’m the volition one. now to share that episode with them.
@CNN To those not aware, Superior and Louisville are densely packed suburbs. This wasn’t a mountain based forest fire, this fire ran through neighborhoods.
@yourewrongabout I had to dissect a cat in anatomy class. It was for elective science credits, so everyone didn’t have to do it, but it is BURNED into my memory.
@yrfatfriend I teach STEAM in elementary school and was talking to our PE teacher yesterday about your podcast and it really made him stop and think about the way/why he is teaching kids about moving their bodies. It,at least, got him thinking.
