@ANGELAYOT2021 Ahh this is fantastic! I wanted to do a health and social care degree but I'm not sure what career it could lead me too? Any suggestions after you've studied it?
It's not everyday you are paid to support a lady to Harry Potter World. I think I'm more excited then she is ๐ Gosh, I love my job so much (not just because of free trips ๐คญ). It has taught me so much about myself and how passionate I am about supporting people ๐ญ
Today I supported a service user with a jigsaw, painting rocks and making scones. I know I left my uni course early for OT, but it has given me so much insight into OT balance and occupations in my new job as a support worker. And I flipping love it! #memories
Second day at my job and I'm staring to feel more confident with the residents. I had one resident show me their wedding list and I've been promoted to head wedding singer ๐ They then proceeded to beat me at Wii bowling. I can't contain my love for this job already โบ
After a nervous start to the morning, I finished my first day at my new job as a Support Worker. I absolutely loved it, the staff and residents were so welcoming. I'm so happy to be doing something I love. ๐
