It makes it more difficult for students to keep government accountable through those outlets. Btw, at Western anyway, we vote on those ancillary fees. The majority of students agree on it

Without the restoration of public funding, this decreased tuition will only create more problems, including cuts to the quality of education...

Don’t say “Canada’s Indigenous people” or “our Indigenous people” or similar possessives to describe the Indigenous people that are in this country. It is paternalistic and implies Canada owns Indigenous people. Use Indigenous people in Canada. Thanks for coming to my TEDTalk.
