@MartinSLewis @CTFCLinda The easy answer to this problem was any pensioner paying the higher rate of income tax of 40% obviously are well of.The ones on 13,14or 15k yet still pay income tax at 20% are not well off and won't get pension credit or other benefits so lose out which is unfair.
