Which is great, but also, I miss the joy of new projects, of different things, or the way it feels to start and finish something and then it be 100% done. There is no 100% done anymore, and this for me has been the hardest part of that transition(2/2)
I made the choice three years ago to purse a *career* type job. No freelancing, no contracts, and while that has been great, it also means that the way I engage online is different. I am not constantly seeking and chasing opportunities for the next project(1/2)
@editoremilye Two things that worked: I woke up super early(5am), prior to work, and did school before work so that work brain hadn't turned on yet. My current strategy is an hour decompress after work(relax, make dinner) then set a defined time to do school(for me, 7-9pm, 3 days a week)
So here's the deal. Absolutely no one is donating. Which is cool, we're all in hell at this point.
I'm just not looking forward to dying anytime soon.
Retweeting can help. It only needs to reach the right person....
Anything helps. Happy Halloween. 💙
Accountability post: tomorrow, I have a 2000 word paper to write and additional assignment. I wanting to get most of this done tomorrow so I can enjoy the rest of your weekend and not have any stress during the week. Will keep you updated!
@hdharia Two years in at a job I wish I'd made myself an address book in excel. I also wish I categorized email threads by topic so I could find things easily
