@PashaIGooD And I work a lot with instances so, for example, if thereβs something like a fence, I donβt place each section individually as a separate object; instead, I place it once and the rest are instances. :) That saves a lot of performance and reduces load times.
@PashaIGooD It all comes down to draw distance; building interiors are culled very early on. You can see the FPS 92 in the top left, running on a Ryzen 7 and a budget-friendly RTX 3060. π
@PashaIGooD That's right; I released a patch today that adds an AI mission system. Missions spawn randomly on the map offering loot to make single-player a bit more interesting, though it's included for multiplayer as well. :)
@PashaIGooD I'm glad to hear that. Yes, base building is fun, but I have to admit there are still a lot of components missing things I'll be adding over time to find the perfect balance, of course. :)
@PashaIGooD Construction and improvements are currently underway across the board; the game has been on Steam for a while now and keeps getting better thanks to community feedback. I place great importance on both aspects survival and the base-building system, which I am also expanding.
