Glad to have joined the kick-off two days meeting of the University Presidents Forum hosted @MekUniETH #Mekelle #Tigray. The Ministry of Education leadeeship , University Presidents & partnera, among others are attending. I have conveyed a short welcome message, highligheted the damage to Tigray's  educatoon system due to the war, the hope owing to the relative peace despite serious ongoing challenges, and reiterated the need for a closer cooperation among institutions to end the suffering
