@JGooballs@CityNewsTO I really hope one day you look back on this and realize just how stupid you sound. You’re not even making an argument or rebuttal, you just sound brainless and ignorant
@JGooballs@CityNewsTO Nope…just a more accurate term to differentiate between the two types of violence. Has nothing to do with being “woke”. You just sound very very stupid. IPV happens to men too. Not just women. Grow some brain cells please.
@JGooballs@CityNewsTO So yes, to describe abuse between a boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband. Because you are INTIMATE with your significant other. Not your parents lol
@JGooballs@CityNewsTO It’s a new term because just saying “domestic” could mean anyone living in the same house: parents, siblings, aunts/uncles. Pretty sure you would never use the term “intimate” when describing a relationship with a family member
@The_panda_rogue @CityNewsTO Intimate partner violence is the correct term to use for domestic abuse and violence. Domestic violence can mean any one living in the same household whether that be a father, mother, aunt or uncle; IPV describes specifically violence between two intimate partners…hence the name
@DebbieHoug31454 @leilmira@TTCnotices I was at Runnymede, one station after Jane and all the shuttles that drove by (within the time frame of 2 hours) were full with people and just driving right by us and only stopped to let people off. While waiting the whole time, I counted less than 20 people out of the 500 of us
