If you don't name the ideology that led to this (without qualifiers), you are dishonouring every single individual who died on that day. Be courageous. Fight those who wish to enslave us.

I have always hated cats. Never had one, never wanted one, my parents hated them, I assumed this was simply one of those sensible family traditions that would be passed down through the generations.
Then my son wanted a cat.
So we got Winston.
Obviously the child’s enthusiasm for feeding, cleaning up after and generally tending to Winston lasted approximately eleven minutes, and I became staff. Except staff are paid.
Winston therefore decided he liked me. Well, "liked" is doing a lot of heavy lifting. He tolerated my existsnce.I did not like Winston. We had a perfectly satisfactory commercial arrangement: I provided food, he stopped screaming at me like a tiny furry crack addict.
Then my eldest moved out and LEFT HIM HERE.
So now I’m permanently living with an aggressive domestic abuser who wakes me up demanding breakfast, follows me around shouting, insists on affection and then, when affection is provided, attacks me because apparently I have administered it incorrectly.
Then my little girl wanted a kitten.
“It’s a boy,” I was assured.
Excellent. James.
James is not a boy.
By the time we discovered this, James had been James for too long and nobody could think of another name, so she is now officially James Not James, or JNJ for texting purposes.
And somehow, without anyone consulting me, I have become a CAT PERSON.
Tonight Winston and James Not James are both lying on top of me and I’m trapped in a position last seen during the floor routine at the 1984 Olympics. I need a wee (possibly a fart (Im not taking any chances at mt age without a Tenna Lady)). My leg has gone dead. I think I’ve lost circulation to one arm. I cannot move because apparently disturbing either of them would constitute a war crime.
And, annoyingly, I love the little bastards.
WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?
Bob is my dog. Bob and I are soulmates. Bob has principles.
Bob "claims" he hates cats.
Except I’ve caught Bob asleep in bed with them, so Bob is apparently a collaborator. A double agent. I have been betrayed.
I am now outnumbered by three furry freeloaders, none of whom contribute financially, all of whom occupy my furniture, two of whom shit in boxes inside my house, and one of whom openly assaults me.
There must be an Ombudsman for this.
The Feline Complaints Commission?
Cats Ofcom? Catchment?
A tribunal?
I’d like to speak to whoever is in charge because this is absolutely not what I signed up for.
Exhibit A
If this Bill passes and you put up a post arguing against Net Zero and criticising Blackout Bowen, there will be no need for debate.
eSafety Karen will be empowered to simply decide your opinion is a “new serious harm” — because it deters “action on climate change” — and then recommend to the Minister that your opinion be censored.
Free speech is squashed, debate is silenced, and alternative opinions are shut down. That’s what Labor’s Bill is designed to do.
And in their typical sneaky and dishonest fashion, this detail is buried deep in the Bill, while they create a smokescreen that it’s all about protecting the children.
This Bill must be opposed and defeated.
@KatyKray73 Hastie not only needs to toughen up, he needs to own why people including those who once supported him called him a traitor. We don’t need another self proclaimed victim politician who can’t own up to their own failings.
Albo only has one objective, permanent ALP majority
He will pay media
Pay activists
Lie
Import voters
Write legislation to crush aspiration
Empower unions over business
Can you see it yet?
While presenting his Musk documentary, Alex Gibney said Elon Musk is extremely dangerous.
He’s not wrong.
Yes, Elon Musk is dangerous.
- Elon Musk is dangerous to the woke machine.
- Elon Musk is dangerous for bureaucrats.
- Elon Musk is dangerous for fraudsters.
- Elon Musk is dangerous to censorship.
- Elon Musk is dangerous to media gatekeepers.
- Elon Musk is dangerous to political propagandists.
- Elon Musk is dangerous to elites who think ordinary people should stay quiet.
- Elon Musk is dangerous to corruption.
- Elon Musk is dangerous to legacy media.
- Elon Musk is dangerous to the EU censorship regime.
- Elon Musk is dangerous to people who want to criminalize memes.
Elon Musk is not dangerous to democracy.
He is dangerous to the people who think they own it.
@Mon4Kooyong We can always count on you to be on the worst side of everything important and to have the most tone deaf takes. At least you’re consistent.
Labor lost a safe seat to One Nation in Western Australia.
Instead of asking why voters abandoned them, Labor immediately blamed social media.
They clearly fear Australians talking to each other online.
They clearly fear people calling out their Labor lies.
Instead of reflecting on themselves, Labor has now moved urgent legislation so they can censor what you can see and say online.
That is the instinct of an authoritarian regime. It follows in the footsteps of Iran, China, Russia and Myanmar.
There is nothing this lying Labor government won’t do to hold onto power.
