Went in today for my monthly potassium draw.
I’ve been feeling pretty good so wasn’t worried?
My doc just called (5:30pm on a Friday!) and my potassium has dropped again to 2.5. That’s less than ideal but not as bad as it was a while back.
The thing that disturbed both of us is how quickly my GFR numbers have dropped!
I’ve flirted with level 3, leaning hard on level 4 kidney disease for about a year. Today’s GFR was 24.9, very firmly in level 4. This is very, very bad!!!
She made me promise to go to Forest General in Hattiesburg tomorrow. Looks like more IV potassium is in my immediate future. Sad panda!!!
