I lowkey live for when Nicki goes on hiatus. It’s the best excuse to go back through her whole catalog and finally dig up tracks. The deep cuts hit different every single time, I’ll catch a metaphor or some clever line I completely missed before and just sit there like… omg

Then I end up falling in love with her music all over again. She’s got stuff going all the way back to 2003, so there’s literally years and years of material to rediscover. We have so much of her work to enjoy and it’s honestly incredible how good it still is. Makes me emotional every time because it just proves that from day one, nobody was touching her. Nobody is doing it like Nicki
