@onediminshi Yall don’t exist in a vacuum, the context has been explained over and over again and repeatedly it’s been explained that the context doesn’t matter because what was said was still OFFENSIVE.
@onediminshi Ugh yes I love when the intricacies of a slur being offensive are explained to me by non black people!
Can’t help that the Brazilian twitter population consistently shows their ass about INSISTING on offensive things not being offensive
@onediminshi Does this change the nonblack original poster finding a roundabout way to make a joke of a slur that they don’t have any business saying?
I normally don’t interact with Brazilians on twitter because yall are just dumb but this is so crazy.
@i03cat @noisymyle Ooh so close but this was Giselle’s name not Ning Ning
No one wants to acknowledge that they’re trying to make a play on nigger by turning Giselle’s name into Niggiselle.
Making ourselves the center of the universe and it’s just asking you to not use a literal slur
Be better.
@JewelPatri97319 @Empressavage No I mean like Manon actually has braids as her go to hairstyle. I’m not arguing that Nvee and Fatou are black K-pop idols who have had braids. I just read it as Manon mainly stays braids. She has since her TikTok days. Idk maybe I’m giving them too much benefit of the doubt
I do this lol but not based on size of the paragraph but if a scene has been going on for too long or if my eye catches a word a couple paragraphs ahead that makes me skip down there. Sometimes I go back and read what I missed. Especially if I clearly missed something important
