Know. Your. Role.
There are one to three go-to players on every NBA team with sets designed and plays called for them. Everyone else needs to know their role and needs to excel at it. Nowadays, for a lot of the league that means 3-and-D.
So, spend your summer working on what you'll actually be doing in the fall and winter.

All these breakdown videos of the top 5 players in NBA Draft are cool. Kudos to the “draft industrial complex.” Now find someone in the 20 to 40 NBA draft range that’s going to make it and play 10 years. Don’t master the obvious, teach me something new.
A FRIENDLY REMINDER!! McDonald's All-American does not equal NBA Draft. Here are past snubs...
Kon Knueppel (No. 4 in 2025 Draft)
Jase Richardson (No. 25 in 2025 Draft)
Kingston Flemings (Projected top 10 in 2026)
Keaton Wagler (Projected top 10 in 2026)
KEEP WORKING!
