@BasedH1llbilly @jonnybario@zudasworld@atrupar Knowing about politicians is history, economics, and political theory. How do you learn about political theory without learning about politicians?
@BasedH1llbilly @jonnybario@zudasworld@atrupar And all this info is available in other places without having to look for it. It’s not a good thing to not know very basic info about governors and senators. I mean you can always learn and educate yourself but why actively advocate not knowing information behind policy?
@BasedH1llbilly @jonnybario@zudasworld@atrupar And I repeat, he holds national leadership positions and has been a fixture in American politics for decades. Senate hearings, etc are televised across the country. I bet you know Greg Abbott is in a wheelchair without needing to be from Texas.
@BasedH1llbilly @jonnybario@zudasworld@atrupar He’s spoken about it through out his entire public career, it’s not a childhood story you have to look up. He’s had literal television commercials about it.
@BasedH1llbilly @jonnybario@zudasworld@atrupar Do you realize he was the minority leader of the senate? Which is a national position of power and involves every state and every voter? And that he also still sits on multiple senate committees? I would think anyone who cares about anything about government would research him.
@realXanderXjork I think Trump is a massive idiot but I think Kaitlin Collins is just a meh journalist who caves to the right in an attempt to seem “middle of the road” and isn’t doing anyone any favors.
@MikeMatthewsua@unreal0072@atrupar RFK only started saying he had no issues with vaccines when he was nominated for a leadership position. He was still saying he had issues with vaccines 6 months ago. It doesn’t matter how many times he says it, it matters if his actions back that up.
@cinnders_cindy@atrupar I mean I don’t disagree that that we’ve been stuck with McConnell for far too long, he’s had a limp and been visibly handicapped since the beginning of his career.
@Carnageloser26@WeejysWorld@zudasworld@atrupar I mean that’s actually a reason he has voted against a guy who doesn’t believe in the efficacy of the polio vaccine which has mostly eradicated polio in first world countries. Mitch McConnell literally said that.
@BasedH1llbilly @jonnybario@zudasworld@atrupar McConnell is literally permanently handicapped due to having polio, it wouldn’t exactly be oversharing for other government officials to know. It’s also something he’s mentioned in literal political campaigns.
