Big accounts will be scared to say this but I'm going to say it;

Carrick is NOT the man to take Man Utd back to the very top.

He did a fantastic job steadying the ship last season, but any serious club would've thanked him, wished him well, and stuck with the plan of getting a top-level manager to take it up from there.

Before positive toxic fans start saying it's just 5 games into the season, please know that I said this last season before Carrick was given the job permanently.

He's a club legend whom we all love, but we must put sentiments aside and speak the truth which is that he is not the man. The job is obviously bigger than him.

This shite is on INEOS for taking the cheaper option to save cash instead of getting a top manager.

Your bias towards Amorim is so enormous that it has completely consumed your ability to think objectively.

But not with me.

Let me ask the questions you keep avoiding.

1. Who handed Maguire a new contract?
Carrick era or Amorim era?

2. How exactly did you expect Amorim to get rid of Shaw when the guy was injured during the transfer window?
Seriously. What was he supposed to do?

3. Ineos came in with a policy: fail for two years and you’re gone.
Ugarte was ONE YEAR into his contract. Amorim had nothing to do with that signing.

Same with Zirkzee.

Yet somehow you keep dragging these players into Amorim’s failures as if he personally built the squad.

4. Mazraoui wasn’t deadwood then. He isn’t deadwood now.
But you keep throwing his name into this argument just to make a dead point look alive.

Okay.

Let’s accept your argument for a second.

Amorim didn’t clear enough deadwood.

Fine.

Carrick had a whole fucking summer.

Has he cleared even ONE of the deadwood players you keep blaming Amorim for?

Not one.

Instead, he has gone back to the same fucking cupboard and started bringing the trash back into the house.

You handed Maguire a new contract.

You reinstated Rashford.

You’re talking about offering Bruno another contract.

And somehow Amorim is the manager who supposedly failed to move this club forward?

Amorim signed Cunha and Mbeumo as long-term solutions for the No.10 positions, then you took those players and pushed them onto the wings.

Let’s be fucking serious for a second.

Amorim absolutely had flaws on the pitch. I will never deny that.

But off the pitch?

I will argue with you all fucking day that he was the best manager this club appointed post-Ferguson.

Because at least Amorim came in trying to change the culture, the structure, the squad and the identity of the football club.

Carrick?

This is looking like another fucking nostalgia appointment.

Another ex-player.

Another familiar face.

Another manager who gets protected because he used to wear the shirt.

And we’re slowly watching the club drag itself back into the same fucking trenches.

But Carrick?

He has cleared none.

Then he went back and picked the fucking deadwood back up.

He handed new contracts to some of them.

He reinstated others.

And now you’re defending that guy while blaming Amorim for everything?

Ralf Ragnick made this statement 4 years ago and was hounded out of this club.

Mourinho came in spoke of football heritage and was chased out.

Amorim came in and made it clear to the board that he was the manager of the team and not a coach and he was sacked.

These are coaches that understood the problem of this club and could have solved it if they were backed by fans and the club.

Of particular concern is Amorim, he understood what needed to be done and went about it by clearing the deadwood but United fans only wanted him to win games forgetting we hired him for a rebuild.

Rebuilds are hard, difficult and painful.

It took Klopp 3 seasons and took Arteta 5 seasons but their clubs were willing to back them and stick with them.

Manchester United is happy to bend to the whims of fans and sack managers without dealing with the main problems.

We need to rebuild this club and Michael Carrick is not the man to do the job, we need a forward thinking manager.

Any coach who wants Rashford back in his squad is not a serious coach and should be sacked.
