@TKPritchard Your little Remy gremlin is so blessed to have you. No matter how challenging it gets to navigate all the constructed identity boxes of our society, you choose to focus on loving and parenting Remy. This child has hit the parent Jackpot!!
Sad to hear that Island Mix restaurant in Kitchener is closing. The only place in KW w/ reggae, soca + R&B vibes, family-owned - of course have gotten too many “noise complaints” for their music, while white-owned businesses playing rock music down the street are thriving. 😡

@carlabeharry I have a childhood memory of Harry Belafonte too! My mom gave me his cassette tape when I was in the hospital for a week as a kid. I listened to it every day all day! Jamaica Farewell, Matilda, so many greats!
This level of hate & filth must not be tolerated. The level of lateral violence this msg spews is disgusting. I stand with Jully & love her for her Bravery.

@carlabeharry I can tell you lots about this History Carla. I’m from this area & grew up surrounded by black history, black settlements & influential people that our history books never tell us about.
