Last year some regrettable cost cutting decisions were made about foodborne pathogen testing, ending 28 years of screening for cyclosporiasis and quickly catching and quenching several outbreaks. Now we still have no idea what the source of this outbreak is. This is the price!!!
The explosive diarrhea-causing cyclosporiasis outbreak has now spread to 31 states, with nearly 7,000 potential cases.
Last year, RFK ordered the CDC's Foodborne Diseases Active Surveillance Network to stop tracking cyclosporiasis.
We've carried the rich for 250 years—let's get them off our backs!
For all two-and-a-half centuries of the United States' existence—and for almost three centuries before its founding—the people who reside on these lands have been brutalized and exploited by an oppressive ruling class; first by the colonialists and early capitalists, and later by the monopoly capitalists (also known as imperialists).
This tiny and insignificant group of parasites who sit at the top of our political system are responsible for all the darkest periods and truly evil deeds perpetrated by this country, from the mass murder and forced displacement of indigenous peoples, to the barbaric system of chattel slavery, to the bloody coups and invasions of foreign nations, to the immiseration of the multi-national U.S. working class up until this very day. It's plain to see that capitalism—the system at the heart of this country—is rotten to the core and needs to be replaced.
We want a country that runs not on the basis of the exploitation of the many by the few, but by putting power in the hands of the very people who produce our wealth, the working class and the oppressed. That system we need is socialism, and revolution is the path forward.
250 years of democracy? Democracy for who? Democracy for an insignificant minority, democracy for the rich--that is the democracy of capitalist society.
It's time to fight for socialism: https://t.co/t4dEgarroT
"250 Years of Freedom"? There's no freedom in a country where millions toil for poverty wages. There's no freedom in a country where entire nationalities are terrorized and murdered by the police and federal agents. There's no freedom in a country that makes its own people pay hundreds of billions every year for a military that kills countless civilians around the world. There's no freedom in a country that has never faced real justice for the crimes of slavery and the genocide of Indigenous peoples.
If you want real freedom, we have to turn things in this country upside down and put power in the hands of the workers and oppressed where it belongs. It's time to fight for a socialist future: https://t.co/PYHtXwCl6X
Palestinian children had their parents killed in front of them before they were exploded themselves but Mayim Bialik had to be reminded she's a genocide supporter in a parking lot and that's worse
PRIDE MEANS FIGHT BACK! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ The LGBTQ movement has a long history of militant struggle in this country, from the uprisings of the 60s, to direct actions and mass protests targeting politicians and corporations during the height of AIDS crisis. This is the spirit we want to carry forward, of uniting all who can be united to fight back against reactionary anti-LGBTQ policies, and for full equality in all aspects of life.
“ruthless criticism” doesn’t mean anything if you are just judging existing socialist countries from the imperialist core. hop off ur high horse buddy, material reality doesn’t play by ur puritanical standards.
