The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has strongly rejected the recently released Independent People’s Tribunal (IPT) report by the People’s Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL), calling it biased, misleading, and politically motivated.

COCOMI asserted that the report unfairly targets the Meitei community while attempting to justify the separatist aspirations of Chin-Kuki groups. Convenor Khuraijam Athouba said the report “undermines peace, justice, reconciliation, and national security,” adding that it emboldens radical elements instead of fostering harmony.

@ManipurTimes Rally and protest are on and on but who is listening? The govt. do not give any heed to the problems of Manipur. Many have lost their lives during these ethnic conflicts but yet no positive effort is seen from the side of the govt. to bring peace in the state.
