•Strict checks to prevent hoarding & ensure fuel quality
•Manage profit margins to prevent exploitation.

Local price adjustments are driven by global supply constraints and rising import costs.

Border areas also saw temporary pressure because Uganda's pump prices were lower than neighboring countries, spiking cross-border demand.
