Finally sorted out the bin of old cables in my office. Too many USB ones to check manually, so I got a gadget to identify charge-only cables and keep the best newer ones. The best I found was a Thunderbolt 3.

5:30am walk around Highfields before it gets too hot. He wants to catch every grass seed! Not content sniffing the path, he jumps onto the wall to investigate. The early light is beautiful.

Today’s trip to Belvoir Archers was another double 720 shoot. The safety briefing even covered what to do if a parachutist lands on the field. Dry, warm, and very windy—no PB, but great practice handling the wind.

Back in the Lake District for a week. Great weather to start, so we dropped our things at the apartment and headed into the hills.

Second leg of the County League shoot. Lovely dry, warm day. Not my best score, but I shot well once I found a reliable sight mark. Next weekend is a double WA720, so I’ll be fine-tuning my sight mark this week.

Turns out my sock height has been very consistent lately. A nice tan line and dust line from this morning’s run. Great 8-mile run along the Southwell Trail after 3 hours of archery (138 arrows).

Another one finished. It’s not perfectly centered, and there are a few mistakes, which makes it feel more organic. It needs a wash—the hound hides behind the hoop and demands attention as soon as I wash my hands.
