On 5th August, Google Play AutoPay also deducted the subscription amount because I forgot to cancel the old recurring payment.

🚨 We Cleared the Loan. So Why Is DCB Bank Still Holding Our Property Papers?

My grandfather has been a loyal @DCBBank customer for 25+ years.

He took a business loan by mortgaging his property, repaid the entire loan 4–5 months ago.

Since then, we've been trying to permanently close the loan and get the original property documents back.

What happened next?

• We submitted the loan closure request.
• The branch kept telling us, "Your documents are in Chennai. Come back after 15 days."
• We kept hearing the same thing for almost 3 months.
• Only after repeatedly contacting customer care and the branch they finally shared the Relationship Manager's number.
• We found out the loan closure process had never been started. The Relationship Manager only applied for it after our follow-up.

After another 15 days, we signed the final loan closure documents.

Another 15 days have passed and we still haven't received the original property papers.

Even worse:
❌ The Relationship Manager avoids giving clear updates.
❌ Calls are ignored or delayed.
❌ Customer Care says the loan is still not closed and asks us to contact the Relationship Manager.

So my question to @DCBBank

Why is DCB Bank taking over 4 months to return our original property documents after the loan was fully repaid?

These are our property documents, not just ordinary papers.
