This past year has brought into sharper focus that the Greatest Generation truly was just that. So many seniors expressed shock this past year regarding the selfishness of so many during the pandemic and how little sacrifice people were willing to make (1/4)

I agree with them that if there was a World War now, humanity would be at a loss. Few have even been willing to do what it takes to keep people in their own city safe; those same people would not bravely head overseas to fight for those they haven’t even met. (3/4)

Was proud to join one of my #warvet clients on @GlobalEdmonton honouring the anniversary of D-Day, 77 years ago this month. Ernie Wood was on one of 1st boats that landed at Juno Beach. Only 7 of the 32 men aboard his landing craft made it to the beach.
